SURYA BAHADUR THAPA ALSO CALLS FOR NOV.POLLS Kathmandu, 29 May:: Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Surya Bahadur Thapa has stressed the need of holding the Constituent Assembly (CA) election within the third-week of November, RSS reports. . Addressing a party flag hoisting ceremony on the occasion of the party's 24th establishment day, leader Thapa urged party cadres to gear up for the party election campaign going to be launched nationwide. He stressed that the government should immediately announce the election date by taking the opposing parties into confidence so as to ensure free and fair election. The new chairman of the party after the unification between two parties - Rastriya Prajatantra Party ( RPP) and Rastriya Janashakti Party (RJP) said the unification was meant for safeguarding democracy in the country. On the occasion, chairman Thapa welcomed around 400 new comers to the party who announced to quit their parties to join the RPP. nnnn
