RULING FRONT TO DECIDE ON ELECTION OR ASSEMBLY REINSTATEMENT THURSDAY Kathmandu, 30 Oct.: The United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has called its meeting for November 1, Thursday to take a final decision whether to reinstate the Constituent Assembly or to go for fresh elections, RSS reports. A meeting of the Front that took place at the Army Integration Special Committee Secretariat at New Baneshwor after the three-party meeting took a decision to this end, said Chairman of the Sadbhawana Party and Minister for Health, Rajendra Mahato. The UDMF has felt the need to make its views on the present hot political agenda public since most of the parties are in the mood of going for new elections, he said. The meeting has been called for 2:00 pm Thursday and it is expected to discuss about the four-point agreement reached between the Front and the UCPN-Maoist in course of the formation of the incumbent government, the budget issues and the government activities, it is learnt. nnnn TWO YOUTH DEAD IN ROLPA Kathmandu, 30 Oct.: Two youth s died in a mysterious condition while sleeping in the Sky Phone Tower at Ratamate of Rolpa district, RSS reports fromRolpa. Mansingh Oli, 18, and Devraj Oli, 16, residents of Garta in Ranka VDC -7 in Rolpa, who were sleeping in the room where generator was kept, died Monday night. They had gone to sleep at the tower house with the security staff of the tower. Although four people had slept in the house, two people sleeping in separate room died, said a local Mahabir Rana. They might have died from leakage of generator gas, locals suppose. Police team has reached there from Supekuna Pachhawang. Nnnn 15 KILLED IN VEHICULAR ACCIDENTS IN EAST IN DASHAIN Kathmandu, 30 Oct.: Altogether 15 people were killed in vehicle accidents in various places of the eastern Nepal during the Dashain festival period, RSS reports from Itahari. During that festival, some 122 people sustained injuries, said the Eastern Regional Traffic Police Office, Itahari. 15 people lost their lives in 63 vehicle accidents until the evening of Kojagrat Purnima from Ghatasthapana day of Dashain, said the traffic police. Accident s were caused mainly due to excessive consumption of alcohol and negligent driving, police said. Nnnn 80KG HASH SEIZED Kathmandu, 30 Oct. Police seized 80kg of hash from Darja Bahadur Ghalan of Makwanpu Monday He was arrested from Lothar VDC in Chitwan. nnnn
