UNITY BOSSES ARRESTED

Kathmandu, 28 May: Five top executives of Unity Life International (ULL) under government scanner, were arrested Sunday evening.
Those arrested are: Bhanu Bhakta Kandel, Dhan Kumar Gurung, Harihar Paudel, Ganesh Dhoj Khati and Kumar Dangol.

MAOISTS HEADING TOWARDS SPLIT?

Kathmandu, 28 May: There was a sudden rumour this week UCPN (Maoist) would split, Sanghu reports.
Maoists themselves spread the rumour.
The rumour spread the party would split before 28 May.
Maoist Chairman Prachanda himself told sources close to him the party would split shattering Mohan Baidya and Baburam Bhattarai.
Prachanda said it was no longer possible to stay together saying the party would split.
Baburam supporters collectively exerted pressure to clarify clear the position saying the party wouldn’t split.
A delegation from the districts went to the Bhattarai residence Sunday asking whether the party would split.
One participants said Bhattrai asked supporters to defead “ New Aloks” and workers with “ Rabindra tendencies’.

NO WORK BY COMMISSION TO INVESTIGATE ANSARI ATTEMPTED KILLING

Kathmandu, 28 May: A judicial commission formed by the government hasn’t started work even 13daysafter formation to investigate the attempted killing of Yunis Ansari in Central Jail, Annapurna Post reports.
Hired Indian killer Manmeet Singh attempted to shoot him dead.
Coordinator of the commission retired supreme court justice Rajendra Bhandari and members haven’t taken their oaths of office and secrecy.
